Metro and bus in Madrid
Madrid's Metro (underground subway
system) is clean, modern and very efficient. It runs from 6am to
1.30am. An individual journey ticket, sencillo combinado,

Parking in Madrid There will normally be public car parking facilities spread
throughout the city, although taking public transport is a much easier way of
getting around town.

A new bus service, No. 200, leaves from terminal 2
every 10-20 minutes, between 6am and 11pm. It stops at terminal 1,
before heading to the Avenida de America interchange, where you can
connect with the Metro in the centre.
Metro from Madrid airport into the centre It is possible to take the Metro into Madrid from terminal 2 of the airport. Trains on Line 8 leave every 5 minutes between 6am and 2am. In 12 minutes Line 8 goes directly to the Nuevos Ministerios station in the centre, from which you can transfer to your desired direction. On your return to the airport it is actually possible to check-in electronically at the Nuevos Ministerios station for certain flights. Consult your airline for more information.
